What follows is a rather disgruntled ramble about folks who plug their fingers in their ears whilst singing at the top of their lungs. ¡Qué divertida!

After having just finished my final exams, and therefore my first semester at college, I feel quite tired but still excited for what's still to come. It's very surreal to have no assignments to do; I keep thinking, "don't I have that essay to do? Oh wait! It's already been handed in!" My dear Hermes, it feels good to have a break from studies.
I got a bit tired of the "mad science lab" journal layout, so I switched to one that looks almost exactly what my desk looked like at the end of exam week. And this bunny picture I just thought was too cute. Look at how adorable that bunny is! My brain implodes every time I look at it.
Yep, that's all I wanted to say, at the moment. My frains are a bit bried from doing so much science in so little time. It's kinda exhilirating, though.

College life has been absolutely stellar, so far. If I had any sense of time, whatsoever, though, things might be going a bit more smoothly. I've got a few big items coming up just around the bend, so I've been pretty busy with work. However, considering the situation my comrades have been in, things could be quite a bit worse.
My roommate is utterly ace. Sometimes, it's like we think on the same wavelength, and, though we do have our differences, we're both accepting of them. For instance, our school had a poster sale in which I nearly didn't purchase a poster bearing the Einstein quote, "Religion is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions," superimposed over a colorfied picture of the physicist. I was afraid of offending my roommate, but comrade Kris said I should not hide who I am, and that my roommate would be understanding. Afterward, my roommate spoke up front with me, saying, "As long as it's nothing totally offensive, it's okay." So now on one wall of our room, there's a sort of atheistic quote, and on the opposite, the infamous "Footprints" poem.
I also love my physics lab partners. We have no trouble in putting our heads together in completing experiments and getting together to complete assignments and to study.
Calculus is going a lot more smoothly than anticipated, but we're also going over things I understood the first time around. Hopefully, when the more challenging aspects finally face me, I'll be able to comprehend them better.
So yes, back to working on a chemistry pre-lab.
